About Me
Hi, my name is Nicole, and I am the owner and creator of this site. I have like thoroughbred racing, for a long time and I finally started a site. I am 14 and ever since I was seven, I have wanted to be a jockey. Although I have only been on a horse, twice in my life, I know that being a jockey is something I want to do. I may not be able to recite all the winners of the current stakes races, or be able to sit a trot; I still know in my heart, I will try until I accomplish my goal, being a jockey.Sure, I have other not so lofty goals, I want to be an artist, veterinarian, horse breeder/trainer, and a writer, but one of my dreams I know I can never lose is sitting on a horse in the winners circle.
The Race
One day I said to you,
The black will beat the bay.
You shook your head, and said,
The bay will beat the black!
Both of those will lose,
A stranger rudely claimed,
But the roan will beat them all!
Soon the race was run,
The black did beat the bay.
Where was the roan, you say?
He never left the gate!
